Who we are
Invited by Love is run by TeoPix Creative Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number [company number]), [registered office address], London. You can reach us at hello@invitedby.love.
Your account
- You need to be 18 or over to create an account.
- Please give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- An account is for planning your own celebration. If you are a planner or venue designing for others, please talk to us first.
Designing and publishing
- Designing an invitation in the studio is free. You pay when you publish it, so that your guests can open it and reply.
- The price is shown clearly before you pay, including any VAT. It is a one-off payment for that invitation, not a subscription.
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Once published, you can keep changing your invitation; your guests always see the latest version at the same link.
Cancelling and refunds
Your invitation is digital and goes live the moment you publish it. When you publish, you ask us to supply it straight away, and you agree that the usual 14-day right to cancel ends at that point. Before you publish, nothing is charged.
If something is not right, please write to hello@invitedby.love. We would much rather fix it, and we will always treat you fairly. This does not affect your statutory rights: if the service is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, or a full or partial refund.
How long your invitation stays online
Your published invitation stays online, with replies flowing to your desk, until at least 12 months after your wedding date. After that we may take it offline, and we will email you before we do so you can download your replies.
Your content
- Everything you write or upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share your invitation with, only so that we can provide the service.
- Please only add what you have the right to share: photos you own, music links you are allowed to use, and other people’s details only as needed for your celebration.
- Nothing unlawful, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content or suspend an invitation that breaks this.
Your guests’ replies
The replies your guests send, including any allergy or dietary notes, are shared with you to plan your celebration. Please use them only for that, keep them safe, and do not pass them on beyond the people helping with your wedding (your venue or caterer, for example). Our privacy policy explains how we look after them.
Our designs and music
The themes, illustrations, lettering, animations and music in our library belong to us or our licensors. You may use them inside your invitation, and share your invitation as freely as you like. They may not be downloaded, copied into other products or resold. Music from our library is licensed for playing inside your invitation only.
Keeping the service running
We work hard to keep invitations available and fast, but no online service can promise to be available every minute. We may need to pause it briefly for maintenance or improvements, and we will try to do that at quiet times.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. If we are responsible, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the invitation concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time by writing to hello@invitedby.love; your invitations and guest replies are removed with it. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change affects you significantly, we will email you before it applies to an invitation you have already paid for.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
